For many of you this is a no brainer. But seriously, until you know, you don’t know! You know? And knowing how to do this correctly is kind of important…. especially if you love garlic.
When roasted properly, the cloves can be spread like butter. With a milder caramelized flavor you can practically eat them straight up…. I do. Watch out though, you’ll get addicted to this style of garlic and go through head after head!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut the top off of your heads of garlic.
Place garlic heads in a bake safe dish.
Drizzle with olive oil – make sure lots gets in all the little nooks and cranny’s. I drizzle about 2 tbsp per clove.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Once they are cooled, you can pick or squeeze out the cloves with ease.
